I don't have a way to reproduce the issue, but I'll send a copy of the score file with the error
Basically, I was crating the piece, and I suddenly came across a measure that instead of having 4 quarter note (or 2 half note) beats, had 3 1/2 quarter note beats. I don't know how this issue would be recreated, which is why I'm sending the score, where it will be the one random measure with a munch of rests (or, if that doesn't work, it's measure 26)

Probably, you accidentally deleted an eighth rest from that measure by pressing Ctrl+Delete on one. Right-click the measure, then choose "Measure properties" and change the actual duration back to 4/4. Attached is a fixed copy.
