UI Improvement ideas - Sugestion
just a few misc ideas to improve the UI such as:
1. have edit notes be by default enabled.
2. add a ability to assign a option(eg. accidentals or dynamics) to an entire column at once
3. make a key-bind guide in the menu somewhere accessible for newbies
4. make the place to modify key binds and other settings like volume more obvious
5. make rests separate from notes in the menu (have each length of rest have a different button like notes).

Seleect, use the selection filter to exclude anything but notes, apply accidental

my 2c:
I prefer entering edit mode explicitly by pressing n - editing notes is not always what I am up to after opening a score
if you click on the top note you can use Shift+down to extend the selection to the voices below, doubleclick on any pallette item to apply it to all marked notes. Note that the longest note in the box determines horizontal extension of the frame; multiple notes can be selected with Ctrl+click
