Guitar Staff Partial Barre with horizontal line within the fraction.

• Jan 19, 2023 - 15:46

Partial barre: the top number indicates the lowest string stopped by the barre;
The bottom number indicates the number of strings that are covered.
The Roman numeral indicates the fret number.
The extra horizontal line indicates the duration of the barre within the measure.
On the photo, 4/6 is shown, 4/2 is needed!
I am writing here / but it should be an horizontal line within the fraction like the photo.
How can I write those partial barre on the staff?
Thanks.

When I look through the manual, it doesn't seem like MS4 supports that format. If you want that style of one on top of the other, you may need to create you own for each different type and save them in a new palette. I think there are instructions in the MS3 manual.

My solution on version 3.2.3:
Check View \ Inspector;
Step 1: Select the note, Palette: Text \ Staff Text, drag to the note;
Step 2: Write 4; ESC; 4 still highlighted, Inspector \ Text: check Underlined;
Redo Step 1;
Step 3: Write 2; ESC; Position under 4; 4/2 is now written.
Step 4: Palette: Lines \ VII-----|, drag to the note;
Step final: Click &/or Double-Click the VII &/or -----|; Inspector.
D & G strings are barred.
P.S.: 4/6 does not make sense !-)
Better solution?
