Musescore 4 Crashing when Inserting new Measures

Trying to insert extra measures into the top of my score and musescore is crashing every time. I'm really excited about musescore 4 but man is it buggy right now. Such a process to use it in it's current state. I'm on a new macbook running Ventura 13.1.
