File keeps crashing (4.0.1)
I was working on this file yesterday and everything was fine. But today I can't open it and it keeps crashing as soon as I try to open it. Any thoughts?

Still the same crash when trying to open unfortunately.
Same problem. keeps crashing in bar 21. Almost every file I've used with Musescore 4 has crashed at some point.

After opening your score what actions do you perform which causes the crash at bar 21? Do you merely play the score?
I have the same issue - any time I try to open a file (or save a file), it closes unexpectedly. It seems to be a glitch with the "file" dialog box. The crash happens shortly after the "file" box appears. It happens every time.
I'm using version 4.1.0.231921402, rev 2e3a93a with Windows 10 Pro, version 22H2.
I had the same issue with version 3.6.2. In 3.6.2, was able to fix the problem by going to Edit>Preferences>Advanced and toggling ui/application/useNativeDialogs. (I got this fix from a forum post.) I can't see how to toggle this setting in 4.1.0.
Does anyone have a suggestion or idea that I can try? I've gone back to 3.6.2 because I can't save my work or open a file.
