Repeat last two measures symbol doesn't work with playback

I've added the last two measures symbol to the third measure, but when playing the third measure it just repeats the second one, and the fourth measure is silent.
I saw a post (musescore.org/en/node/316206) which says that this functionality was going to be added in MuseScore 4, but it doesn't work for me. There is a workaround page in the handbook (musescore.org/en/node/103336), but it's too much effort for me.
