MuseScore 4 - Creating Parts

Creating score parts in MuseScore 4 does not work as in previous versions. Prior to V4, I was able to select more than one instrument to create a new part.

In MuseScore 4, the create new part button only creates the parts but doesn't offer the option to choice an instrument resulting in an empty part.

How do I create score parts as documented in MuseScore 3.*?
