Notes in two voices are incorrectly aligned to avoid collision. In the attached MS 4.0.1 example, the half-note chords should by default be placed to the right of the notes in voice 1 (see the same measure in the published example). In this way the notes in the voice 1, bass clef and vocal part will be vertically aligned. The workaround is to move the notes in voice 2 manually by modifying the X axis in properties.

Another example of same problem in MS 4.0.2 (refer to Voice Alignment Issue 2 files). In this score fragment, the F# dotted-half in the vocal part and the F# dotted-half in the right hand of the piano part should be vertically aligned as shown in the published version.
