How do I give the trumpet a mute?
I've been looking for how to do it and it says to go to the staff text properties and change the sound but it doesn't show up for me.

I have a few scores where I wanted brass players to use / not use mutes. Given I didn't find any muted brass instruments defined in the default instruments pool (and didn't want to mess with adding soundfont instruments), I didn't get caught up in the audio playback aspect of mutes / no mutes. Which is of little relevance if your main concern is for live players to read & perform your music. Sufficient in-score notations regarding mutes is all THEY need to apply mutes in the performance, right?
