I seem to have set my playback on to Mute. I have no idea how I did it or how to undo it. Your help will be gratefully accepted.

I should add here that i get sound when I click on individual notes. It's only in the "play" mode that there is total silence. I've also checked my speaker volume levels and the fact that my computer is not on mute. that's all good. Somehow i seem to have muted playback only.

Your playback for the instruments is turned off.

Hit CTRL+A to select all, then in properties click on the field of "playback" to check it.

Maybe, properties is on the left of your score. I put it on the right.

I had just come here to tell you that i figured it out. And you nailed it. What i don't get is how I did it. But life is good again for a while, thanks.
