Muse Sounds cut out intermittently during playback.

I am trying Muse Sounds for the first time.

During playback, the sound cuts out intermittently. It is especially noticeable on the voice part, but it happens on both parts. As you can see in the System Information, below, I have plenty of CPU power and plenty of RAM, plus 32GB of Optane memory configured as disk drive cache.

The .MSCZ file is attached
The two parts are Muse Sounds "Flute 1" and Muse Sounds "Tenors".

OS: Windows 10 Version 2009, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.1-230121751, revision: 9b70a8c

Take a look at the specs for MS4. You also need an SSD.

Thanks, Bob.

I will play around with my settings.

I do not have an SSD, but with the Optane cache, the disk drive rarely spins up, so the Optane functions much like an SSD.

Worse case, I will forego Muse Sounds, and just use Basic (general midi), which works fine.
