Add staves after creation
I am scoring a duet. Only need the piano brace for the introduction, then I want to add the first vocal staff, then after about 24 measures, a staff for the second voice. How do I add them in? Or do I create all staves from the start and hide them until needed? How would I do that? Using 3.4..... Thanks.

My advice would be to upgrade to MS 3.6.2, which is still my favourite version.

Definitely add all the needed staves at the start of the project, because you need these staves to be visible in order to enter the notes. Menu path: Edit > Instruments > choose instrument > Add to score > OK.
Later on (after entering all the notes in all staves) you can refine the score by enabling Format >Style... > Score > Hide empty staves within systems > OK.
