Swing feel option in MuseScore 4
I'm currently putting together a lesson for a jazz sax student, so the exercises need to have a swing feel for him to get everything right.
After over 30mins of searching all the menus and submenus for the Swing feel option, I couldn't find it, so I googled it:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/swing
Well, that's where is used to be, but it isn't there now.
In the end, I finally found it - in tiny letters - under the Tempo section of the palettes. (????)
"Swing" is a feel, an interpretation, not a tempo. So why has it been moved here?
I hate to say it, but once again I'm left scratching my head trying to understand why things that worked fine as they were have seemingly been changed around for no apparent reason.
Am I alone in thinking this was unnecessary?

Thanks. I was hoping that was the case.
Actually "Swing" is merely a text-property-setting for stave or system text, which you can create using the shortcut. Then you could type what ever you want - swing 8ths, swing baby, swing it, swing 16ths - then right click the text and set the swing setting as you wish.

It's placed alongside tempo markings, so it's where most new users would be likely to look - and we used to get complaints people couldn't find it when it was in text. But of course, everyone is different, so no matter where it goes by default, it will make sense to some but not others. Luckily, it's easy to customize, just drag it to the palette you want.

Thanks, Marc. I wasn't aware that you could move items between palettes.

Actually, that makes sense, and thank you for the tip about moving stuff between palettes. I struggle too with changes, but it's the cost of improvement!
Thank you so much. I wasted so much time hunting around for this. The documentation really needs to be updated and it shouldn't be so hard to find. Actually thinking of going to another notation software because of time wasting feature changes.
