guitar tab AND staff notation

In MS4, I have staff notation for a guitar part. I would like to link it to tab notation. I know I can start a new score using the score wizard that contains linked staff and tab. But I should be able to go into the instruments panel and add a tab line there and link it to an existing staff line. I cannot find what to click on in order to link them?

The MS4 manual says to click the cog next to the staff label, but there is no cog next to the staff label?
