Adding Text to Individual Parts
I am having trouble getting text markings to only show up on certain parts. Ex: Trumpet fingerings on a measure. When I do so it also shows up on the trombone part. Not sure how to change that.

Make sure you are using Staff text and not System text. Staff text shows up only on the staff it is applied to. System text shows up in the same position on all instruments in the score when parts are created.

Also if it's fingering, better still to use the actual fingering text. But indeed, definitely not system text.
