the 'Technique' text style

What kind of text is styled as 'Technique' by default - and how does MuseScore know to do so?

In scores I created in 1.3 but am now working on in the Nightlies, I see 'Technique' applied to text such as crescendo or sempre legato, for example, which I am pretty sure I originally created as ordinary Staff Text.

If you are still around... Can you share a a short score to demonstrate the problem of texts in 1.3 scores having Technique style applied in MuseScore 2.0b1 or nightly?

Before commit 9a4837d3 "Technique" was used for text (staff text) imported from MusicXML files. Could it be that the 1.3 examples were file originally imported from MusicXML?

The files in which I encountered the Technique style weren't 1.3 files after all; they had instead been edited extensively using an August 2012 Nightly. Because they couldn't open in Beta 1 or subsequent Nightlies, I had to save them in .xml - but then I forgot about that extra step. Sorry for any confusion.
