I have to click a note and re click add sticking text for every note?
In musescore 3 when adding sticking you could click add > Text > Sticking and you would only have to do it once. It would automatically change from note to note. However, in musescore 4 I have to re do it for EVERY SINGLE NOTE. Is there a way to change this in settings?

I think you are misremembering. It never automatically changed; you had to press Space to move from note to note and that remains true.
