Horrible Playback on Ms4
I have a problem of terrible crackling sounds and the playback doesn't keep up with the tempo when I use the playback in Musescore 4.0.0 . It sounds perfectly fine if I export it as mp3 and then play it. I think I've tried everything like switching instruments, restarting Musescore, reverting Musecore to factory settings, rebooting computer. Nothing has worked...

The two most important things you don't mention having tried:
1) increase buffer size in Edit / Preferences / I/O
2) find your audio settings (often in your OS or a separate utility) and set sample rate to 44.1 kHz (or experiment to find what works best)
