Stop screen auto-moving to next page/stave when entering notes in final bar
Having completed an SATB score, I am now adding the piano accompaniment.
For this I need to enter multiple notes in a bar, which would be played simultaneously in a chord.
However, when I get to the last bar on the line or the end of the page, once Musescore detects that sufficient notes have been entered to fill the time in the bar, it automatically moves to the next bar. In order to add the further notes to the chord I have to scroll back up the page, or even back to the previous page. Is there a way to disable this 'clever' feature?

It is like all clever features, it only happens when you don't want it to happen.
Having that said, I would advise to change to the Continous View mode for this (instead of Page View) and once complete switch back to Page View.
Actually, you don't need to scroll back at all - Shift+letter adds a note whether the measure is in view or now. You can also press Left instead of actually scrolling.
But if you prefer to scroll things yourself, turn off "Pan score automatically" in the option menu of the playback toolbar.
I agree....this is soooo annoying! I haven't finished with the bar and it automatically advances me into the next bar, when I still have 3 or 4 notes to add to a chord! (Or multiple notes in an orchestral score where I am working on 1 bar at a time with 22 instruments.) It would be less frustrating to have to manually move to the next bar myself... than going back to the previous page 7 times!
