Duration of a Note's Preview sounds are Affected by Cursor Speed

I've linked a zipped video because showing is easier than telling. The buzz lasts longer if I keep moving the cursor slowly and it cuts off if I move it too fast or stop moving. It seems like I have to move the cursor in the sheet music window rather over than the other menus, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
