Screen going blank when I try to add dynamics, ties...
On a new piece I'm working on, the screen goes blank when I try to add ties, dynamics, tempo markings, especially if I'm trying to do more than one tie or slur at once.
I have to go to Edit-Undo to get my work back.
This is on 4.0.2.

The problem went away today. My only problem now is static on the playback.

Regarding playback, try changing the buffer size in Edit / Preferences / I/O, and/or your audio device sample rate wherever your system provides that option.

Thanks, Marc! I changed the buffer size, and it cleaned it up. Hope your still playing jazz piano!
