Musescore 4 is pretty good but what if the interface which allows minimizing the score to work on other issues?
Two: how do you change from default MS Basic soundFonts to any other?

I don't understand your first question. Are you asking how to minimize the window? Just click the minimize button on the title bar. If you're in full screen mode (I'm told there is a Windows bug where this can be triggered automatically) press F11 to leave that mode.
To change sound, click the Mixer button on the toolbar and select a new sound for whatever instrument(s) you like. Note that MS Basic is on ly the default if you haven't installed Muse Sounds, or if the instrument in question is not supported there yet.
