How do I use my Roland to transpose music?

• Jun 13, 2023 - 06:50

I recently just bought a Roland (KF-10) and I want to compose more music, but I don't want to write all the music notation. How do I use MuseScore in order to help me with that?

Well, Musescore is a notation creation and editing program. If you don't want to write notation then Musescore is not going to be much use as that is exactly what it designed to do. Perhaps a midi editing program would be more help.

As far as I could find is it possible to record MIDI files on the KF-10. If it has a MIDI port it may be directly connected to your PC and used as note input keyboard. Check your Roland manual how to save these (USB stick?) or how to connect it to a PC.
MIDI can be opened in Musescore.
