Making Percussion Parts look professional

When you look at a score and see the percussion parts the instruments are marked when they enter on percussion 1/2. Such as percussion 1 has snare bass drum and temple blocks and it would say temple blocks on the staff when it enters (screenshot exmaple), but I cant figure out how to do this. If you could help me that would be appreciated.
