Can't save an empty score
I tried to write an arrangement from scratch but failed to save it.

Try using 'Save as' (and name it Greensleeves - arranged) instead of using 'Save'.

I tried 'save as' and 'save a copy'. If filename exists, I'm asked for permission to replace it, but then nothing happens. Otherwise, I get 'File not found', and still, nothing happens.

I wonder why you get the message "File not found" when saving?
This message appears when you open a file and specify an incorrect file name, or when the file is still in the list of recently opened files but no longer exists - if it was deleted in some other way.
Perhaps a Windows problem?
Try a complete shutdown (togehter with Shift) and reboot your PC.

Maybe you have no permission to save to this drive, or maybe the drive you want to save to is full?
