Playback bug
If I have finished a score and save it but close my laptop for the night, when I come back to the score and push play, the cursor moves along at great speed but no sound plays. I have to quit MuseScore and open the file again.

Probably MuseScore and the sleep mode of you PC don't interact correctly. It's hard to say which of those are responsible.
Try to restart the MIDI and Audio device in the preferences ...
