Using Renaissance note style in MuseScore 3.6.2
I am setting a piece I composed in late 15th century French style. I would like to use Renaissance note heads, but cannot work out how to do this. I have tried to replace standard notation with Renaissance notation using Master Palette - Symbols - Medieval and Renaissance individual notes, but these notes appear superimposed on top of the standard notation, and I can't work out how to remove the standard notation while leaving the Renaissance notation in place. Am I doing something wrong, or Is there another way to change the notation to Renaissance style? I have uploaded my MS file for reference. Thank you!
(Btw - I am using MS3.6.2 because I cannot get MS4 to load on my PC. (it did initially, not long after MS4 was released, but won't now). But that's OK because I like MS3.6.2 :-)

You should be able to select all the notes of the standard notation and make them invisible. A better way would be to install Valerio: https://forums.steinberg.net/t/valerio-a-16th-century-music-font/941064, but you’d need to install JoJo-Schmitz’s MS 3.7 first, as I think 3.6.2 won’t accept other fonts.

Indeed, you'd need 3.7 for custom fonts. 4.6 will support them too, but is some months ahead
