Cannot Save to the Cloud with 4.1-Release version

• Jul 14, 2023 - 21:02

Two successive attempts at saving a score to the cloud (the 2nd after a restart of the program) failed.

It is a long score 795 measures (23 orchestral parts), but I've had no issues saving it to the cloud with the 4.2 Nightly builds.

Is there something I should be aware of?

Me too! I have a short score, that doesn't save in cloud, it makes an error window.
Where can i download the 4.2 nightly build for linux?

You can download the latest nightly build for Linux at https://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/musescore-nightlies/linux/4x/nightly/?C=M;O=D, but it may not address this particular problem, because it looks like a problem with the MS server. I had a similar issue with the nightly build a couple of days ago wherein the upload was successful, but it never finished processing (manually aborted after several hours)

I'm guessing that it may be some sort of server problem? I tried saving my new song I spent the last 4hrs on via an older version (4.0.1) and it still came up with the error message.

I too am unable to save to the cloud my score (an art song, voice and piano, approx. 100 measures). This problem occured today after I updated musescore. The following message appears when I try to save to the cloud: "Error 500: Internal server error." Please advise!

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that with the new 4.1 Release, everybody and his/her brother/sister are trying to upload stuff to test the new improved sound effects, so that it may be best to wait a while. (my $0,02)
