Weird extra bar lines
Hi there.
I'm currently working on a score and keep getting these extra bar lines here and there. What causes them and how do I get rid of them? I've had them before and usually they disappear if I toggle the barline to a different one and back, but the ones I see now are more persistent. Sometimes they cause problems if I, for example, copy music that includes this barline. That causes a corrupt file and I can't save my work.
Thanks in advance!

You can try this: https://musescore.org/en/node/335842
But if you can't fix the issue, please attach the .mscz file so we can understand what is happening and help you accordingly.
Here's the file.

And the weirdest thing happened. I tried to figure out how to get rid of one of the two extra bar lines, and inserted a note manually to the previous bar, and that made the extra line disappear. Didn't help with the other one, however...

For some reason, exporting the file in MusicXML format (sometimes a good way to check the health of the .mscz file) reveals something unexpected and strange, to say the least. Measure 27 displays an actual measure duration of 24/4 (instead of 4/4) - image below
Returning to the nominal measure duration (4/4) seems to fix the problem, see: 1Work Song.mscz
Do you remember anything specific that you did or tried to do at this point/measure in the score?
NB: To compare with your image:

Two thoughts:
1. This score is over 140 measures, but you have not identified by measure number where the problems occur.
2. Have you tried File > Export ... > Format: MusicXML ? Sometimes this is successful is "discarding" hard-to-trace corruptions.
