MS 4.1 Unicode entry on macOS Ventura 13.4.1
I need (and I cannot stress this enough, even having posted already about similar topics) Unicode entry to properly enter the text of ecclesiastical Latin chants with modern notation, mostly for organ accompaniment. For example, U+01FD should result in ǽ, the æ with an acute accent.
When I change to the Unicode keyboard, and I hold "option" then press "0" and "1", I get this. That's not right.

An alternative is to use "Show Emoji and Symbols": you can search for the hex code or unicode name, or accented Latin characters can be found under the "Latin" category.

I’m just keeping the character somewhere where I can copy and paste. Changing the keyboard via the menu bar and typing the hex code is easiest. And doing that used to work, so.
This has not been fixed. But I can copy and paste correctly from within the same score as of 4.2.0.
