playback selected staff or measure
How do I play back a selected measure or staff? For example, how do I playback only the staff with the bass clef?

To solo only a given instrument - like just the piano in a score for piano + voice - just select a measure. But to solo just a single staff within a single instrument, you need to select the contents of the staff you don't want to hear, then uncheck "Play" in the Properties panel.
