SOMETHING WEIRD

• Jul 26, 2023 - 17:01

So I was working on my score today and I noticed that musescore changed back a part of my music after I fixed it a couple days ago.
That worries me, so I looked at my score and every thing else looked fine. But I just wondered if I was wrong. So I checked a pdf that i sent to my teacher and I was correct! I saw the music part there in the pdf as I left it.

(Every time I save my score to my computer and then to the clould and I erase the old clould score, PDFS I ALWAYS DOWNLOAD FROM MY PHONE ON THE CLOULD INCLUDDING THE ONE I SENT TO MY TEACHER.)

Any thoughts on this??
Thanks.

Sounds like you probably saved two different copies of this and simply loaded the wrong one. Hard to say without actually going through your hard drive and also retracing your steps over the last few days.

FWIW, though, I don't recommend relying on the cloud save facility. It does basically work, but it's so much easier to keep track of what is going on - also so much more efficient and so much safer - to save your files locally, and also have a good backup facility (perhaps a cloud-based one like Google Drive or Dropbox).
