Metronome marking
How do I insert a metronome marking on my score? I tried drag and drop but it didn't work.

It is usually easier to select the note or rest you want to attach it to and then to click on the tempo marking in the palette. In fact that is usually the best way to apply any palette item. Drag and drop requires you to drop it on just the right spot and that spot can be elusive.
