My Vibraslap is now a triangle

So basically, I did the trick where you combine 2 percussion instruments into one. I did this with Vibraslap and triangle, Cymbals and Claves, Snapping with Stamping, and Snare and Bass. In which I went into the "Edit Drumset" menu and chose the pitch that was the instrument. The thing is it worked like a charm.
However, going back into it later, the Vibraslap turned into the sound of an open triangle, despite me customizing the note head. This also happened to my cymbals, as now despite having a different head as the claves, it plays the clave sound. And in the tool bar to select sound, when I click the vibraslap, it plays an open triangle, despite going into "Edit Drumset" and seeing it has the vibraslap pitch.
In addition, I tried to change the note head of the Vibraslap into another one to try and fix the problem. Nope, and it also wouldn't let me remodel the old heads that were still there (I changed the cross into a diamond and it worked for 5 different places, but not the ending of the piece).
What makes it more confusing, is that the snapping and stamping didn't get scrambled, they stayed the same and still sound amazing. The snare and bass however, you can hear the snare, but the bass drum is completely gone. No sound.

Sounds like probably you are using the wrong pitches for the instrument, but it's tough to guess. If you attach your score and describe which notes you are having trouble with, we can understand and assist better. Also say if you are using something other than the current version of MsueScore (4.1.1) and if you are using any non-default sound like third party soudnfonts or VST instruments.
