128th note
I remember there being 128th notes in Musescore 3. Where are they in Musescore 4? (I just started using Musescore 4.)

Oh! Found it! Thanks a lot.
Also is there a way to enter volume in numbers (like from 0-127), like we did in Musescore 3, rather than in decibels that is in Musescore 4?

Only in properties panel > playback you can set velocity like in inspector.

What you mentioned is the individual note velocity.
What I want to know how is this possible.
(Screenshot from Musescore 3)
This was possible in Musescore 3, and I need this for precise volume management between various instruments.

One of the reasons why I use Mu3 for my scores and Mu4 only for testing.

Oh yeah! I can probably figure out the volume stuff.
However in Mu4 bends are broken, and that just turned me away for now.
I think bends will be fixed in Mu 4.2, from what I have read.

To be clear, in MU3, guitar-specific bends played, but normal bends did not. now it's the other way around - all bends now play, except the guitar-specific ones. But indeed that is being worked on.

Wait. I am a bit confused now. What are guitar-specific bends and normal bends? I only know one kind of bends.
Can you please explain. It would be very helpful.

The one on the Guitar palette with the curved line and arrow and the word "full" that you can customize in the Properties palette is meaningful only for guitar - actually, really only for tablature. It would not be understood by any other musicians. The ones in the Arpeggios & Glissandi palettes - the glissandis themselves (after setting to portamento play style) and the curved lines fall, doit, plop, and scoop are meaningful for all instruments (and voice). And these all playback in MU4, but the fall etc did not in MU3.

You can still make precise adjustments, there are just actual units when now when before they were meaningless numbers :-). You can enable direct access to this field using the "..." menu at top right of the mixer, and then it appears above the slider.
