How to even out a piece.
Say I have two lines of very congested 16ths and 32nd notes and the other lines are half or whole notes.
How do I even out the measures that would allow space for the congested and compress whole or half note measures?

a) Add system breaks to decongest the measures with shorter notes by forcing measures onto the following system.
b) Increase stretch by selecting everything (CTRL+A) followed by shortcut }
