How to: Changing Instrument Name in Mixer

I thought changing the instrument name in the mixer to match the score would be straightforward, possible automatic. Failing that, I searched the Mixer section of the manual and found a wealth of information except what I need. One comment seemed to suggest editing the Music XML was how to update the label, but it wasn't clear.

Suggest, please.

I have no idea how to change the instrument names in the mixer.
But I was able to setup a new score with your instruments. Names are correct in the score, mixer, and instrument palette.
