Does import PDF include text?
Does anyone know if the import PDF feature scans and includes lyrics as well, or just musical note values?

No lyrics, as far as I can tell
Most optical music recognition (OMR) systems can recognise lyrics, but I can't get that to work with Audiveris (MuseScore's File > Import PDF...).
I use paid-for OMR software which does the job pretty well.
I suppose musescore.com has disabeld the the recognition of text in online conversion.
I use a localy installed version of Audiveris and depending on the PDF quality I also get title and lyrics pretty well.
