High pitched glitchy sound all the time
When I try to playback the audio of a score, the sound is always glitchy and high pitched. This started to happen earlier last week. The software is completely up to date, I run an up-to-date version of Windows 11, and I am using an MSI laptop. Things like spotify and youtube sound completely normal. The glitchy sound is the case for all of my files now, whether I'm using Muse Sounds or the basic soundfont. I have tried uninstalling musescore and deleting the Muse Hub and redownloading everything but the files all still have that glithy sound. Even when I make a brand new file and score, the glitchy sound is there so I can only assume it's something with my MuseScore itself rather than an audio setting on my laptop.

Reinstall seldom helps MuseScore. The problem is indeed most likely audio settings.

I’m even more confused now… All of a sudden, nothing’s wrong?? I’m able to hear everything normal now but I didn’t actively do anything to fix the problem…

Maybe your computer is celebrating Halloween early.

I know my computer thinks it has quite the sense of humor...NOT.
Hi all, the problem has come back… any ideas on why I’m having this issue?
