Better Tablature Editing

When I get MuseScore 4 tabs working on Windows, life is going to be oh, so good.
It's already better, with a great interface, and terrific printable graphics.

But as I was looking at other tablature options, an idea came to me.

In this case, I was using Guitar Pro to create a mandolin tab. But man, the
fret choices were insane! (Way down the neck on one string, with the next
note way UP the neck, one string over.)

So, for a linked staff or type tablature, it would terrific if:
1, Hovering over a string showed you the fret# for that note, on that string.
2. Clicking put that number at that location.

If nothing else, it would be a great way to add double-stops!
