Pedaled Notes Won't Ring If Repeated

If you play any note and catch it under a pedal, it will not play for its full duration if it is repeated in another staff/voice. In the screenshot I provided, the A in the right hand will sound like a sixteenth note.

The only solution is to mute the repeated notes in playback or rewrite the part, which are both unsatisfactory solutions for me. Is this an oversight by the developers or am I missing something here?
