Corrupted file
I am trying to open a project but it says that the file is corrupted and that 'it contains errors that could cause Musescore to malfuntion'. Is this possible to fix? Thank you!

Unfortunately, a fix is not possible.
It is an empty file.
Look in the .msbackup folder to see if you can find your data there.
And if so, rename the file, so MuseScore work with it.

The backup folder is a subfolder of your score folder. However, it is hidden. Ask a search engine how you can make it visible to your operating system.
But it is not certain that there is an undamaged file - hope so!
