My score disappeared when i tried to add triplets. Is there any way to get it back?

Ive been using MuseScore for many years, but only recently got the newest version. I am not a very technologically talented person, so i thought i did everything right. I thought since i was logged in, things would save automatically, like google docs. Thats obiovusly my bad.
I had spent 3 hours on a score, and when i was going to add triplets, the whole score vanished, without warning. No error message and no hint as to what the hell happened.

I am so sad because ive finally gotten my motivation back, but having spent hours on something for it to completely vanish just broke me down. How the hell did this happen, and is there any way to get it back?

And yes, i know its my fault for not thinking i had to save, but i have no idea why it just vanished in the first place. The window just closed, without asking if i wanted to save, and it was all gone.

The notation software is separate from the score sharing site. You don't have to be logged in to anything. If by vanished you mean the whole program shut off, then it might be possible that if you open the program again , a popup will be there stating that the session shut down unexpectedly and would you like to reopen it.

Obviously, the program shouldn't have crashed. Unless there was some kind of problem. How were you entering triplets?

No the whole programme didn't crash. The window with the score just closed as if I closed it. The home page of musescore was still opened. I entered triplets by going to the category at the top of the window(I'm sorry I don't know what it's called in English) and then I chose triplets. That's how I've always done it.

I redid my whole score, and when I tried to add triplets again, but this time after saving, the same thing happened. And then I tried a third time, and it happened again. It simply happens every time I try to add triplets. I guess I'll just save to not do triplets
