How to actually add parentheses around the breath mark
Is there a shortcut as i cannot seem to add parenthesis around breath note on Musescore e. I tried the staff text but it seems to only do the note not the breath mark. and accidentals don't seem to work either.

Put parentheses on a note. Disable auto place for them. Then drag them up where you need.

Thank you, that worked though a little fiddly. Hopefully they will add this feature in the breaths mark as an option or accidentals.

I agree :) I need it more often with bowing markings, though.
