Measure rest style

Is it possible to change the style of measure rests? To clarify: I'm writing a piece with an unmetered section, and empty measures longer than 4/4 automatically get a small tick as a rest. I'd like all empty measures to get a standard measure rest, the kind that looks like a whole rest, regardless of duration. Is this possible?

Edit: I attached a screenshot to better indicate what I mean. I'd like the measure rest in the 9/4 bar to look the same as the measure rest in the 5/4 bar. I know I've done this in other notation software, and I thought I had done it in MuseScore as well, but maybe not since upgrading to MuseScore 4.
