Changing stem direction to an existing part

I am looking to change all the bass drum stems in an existing drumset part from down to up. I went into Edit drumset and modified the stems for all bass drum instrument from down to up. I hit the apply button. The drumset palette for bass drum changed to up stems but the existing drumset part still had stems down.

Is there a way to apply the new drumset notation format to existing drumset part notation.
