Conversion from "Single voices" to "choir notation"
Is there a simple method for converting two single voices into a choir notation and vice versa, as shown in the attached picture?
I didn't find this described in the documentation.
The method I found is awkward and defective.
Working with MS 4.2.1.

The problem: at point 2 not all notes are transfered to the second voice. Especially triplets are not converted to 2. voice. Even manually I did not find a method to convert triplets from voice 1 to voice 2. Maybe it's a bug? (see attachment)
The other way round for converting a line with 2 voices into two single lines with one voice, I have no idea how to do.
What I would have expected:
I use the command "Auszüge" (excerpts in English?). There I should get a menu for selecting two single lines with the option to convert it into one line.
This would have the advantage that all notes are only once available in the full score.

Implode and Explode (Werkzeuge - > "Sammeln" bzw. "Verteilen") handles the triplets correctly.

I would create this T/B line already in the score. Then you can create excerpts (or: parts) either separately in one voice or together in two voices.
And in the score you can make either the two individual staves or the combined stave invisible. And mute them for the audio export if necessary.
If you have both instrument staves directly after each other, select both and use 'Tools -> Implode'.
The notes of the lower stave will be copied to the upper line as voice 2, and you can then delete the lower stave.
This is the intended function to do such things and is neither awkward nor defective.
Vice versa can be done using 'Explode'.

Thanks HildeK. This works.
And even triplets, which did'nt work with my method, are converted with this method.
Simply I had not this function in mind with the German words in the tools menu "Sammeln" and "Verteilen".

But there is one limitation:
If a measure of the upper stave is empty, then 'Implode' will copy the notes of the lower stave to voice 1!
However, this is only a problem if you want to create two individual staves again with 'Explode' - they then do not end up in the lower staff, but remain in the upper one. You then have to transfer them manually by cutting and pasting.
