Enable Alt+spacebar "Minimize" shortcut?

Hey, fellow MS maniacs! After decades of Window use, I instinctively minimize windows in a flash by typing Alt+spacebar (opening the shortcut menu) and typing N.
But for some reason, this is disabled in MS:

Can that possibly be intentional? If not, will you please enable it? I feel like a goofball every time I try to do it—I can't get it through my 60-odd-year-old head that it works everywhere except in this one program. 🙃
