Tabor

I'm trying to find a percussion sound....a tabor - i.e. a snare drum without the snares!!

Any ideas?

I don't think that a tabor sounds like "a snare drum without the snares", but a tom should make that sound. You might want to just create a score that is only ALL of the possible percussion (e.g., none of the bells will sound like a tabor) and simply enter a few notes of each one and compare it to your physical tabor.

My bet goes on one of the toms or one of the congas, but I don't actually have one to compare.
