The notes don't sound like the notes
When I place a note or listen to the playback every note just sounds like a high pitch or low-pitched screech
Doesn't sound like music at all and it ruins everything
I put a solo instrument as a Tuba and it gave me the ugliest sound ever and it didn't even sound anything like a tuba.

Which version of MuseScore?
Did you change output devices while MuseScore is open? Like from speakers to headphones. Don't do that.
Try a re-set. Found in different places depending on which MuseSoure. V4 found in the Help tab.
